Job Opening – Part-Time Position at Nurture Your BOOKS

 

Position we are hiring for: We are looking for an Assistant Book Tour Coordinator. We will train you.

 

Frequency of work: You will be working as an independent contractor. We are very selective about the clients that we promote through Nurture Your BOOKS™ and as such, we do not have a large volume of book tours running each year. Please note that this position should be considered a small source of intermittent income.

 

Your responsibilities: Will include contacting and communicating with potential tour hosts by email, filling-up each tour schedule with quality tour hosts with genre-specific blogs and designing a basic HTML media kit for each tour. Once the tour host has agreed to host for the tour and you have a confirmed tour date, the Senior Book Tour Coordinator would take care of the rest of the email communications with the tour hosts. You will not be required to travel and you can easily work from home if you have internet access and a working computer.

 

Required experience: A successful applicant must have a decent following and an active presence on several, common social media platforms. They must have good connections within the online book blogging and book reviewing community and be willing to communicate regularly by email with potential book tour hosts until the book tour schedule is filled. They must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

 

Pay & Perks: You can work from home and set your own hours to a certain extent. You will be paid a set amount, in USD, per virtual book tour, based on the length of the tour and the number of tour stops included. You are paid after your duties are completed for each tour, through our verified PayPal Merchant account. If an author is applying for the position and is hired, they will also receive 10% off all Nurture Book Tour services while they are in our employ.
